What to expect from me as your divorce coach

Danielle Barbereau, Professional Divorce Coaching

I am here to help you get clarity and move from a place of guilt, pain and confusion to one of hope and strength. This shift generally takes place over a series of five meetings, often fewer. Coaching is a dynamic and positive process which, if done skilfully, brings lasting and deep change. It is not to be confused with counselling which tends to be more passive, and which many of my clients have experienced, with little effect.

When you work with me, you will start to feel better quickly.

I create unique, close and supportive relationships with my clients. I ask the right questions and am not afraid to challenge - kindly - when you are stuck, to help you get past whatever is preventing you from moving forward. By offering you a different perspective and an objective view I can help you make real and meaningful progress.

Help and support to regain control of your life

Clients tell me I am straight talking and that I bring warmth and humour to my work with them. They feel that I truly understand their situation and that I am rooting for them. Most importantly, they tell me that they trust me absolutely.

And whilst I am not afraid to challenge beliefs and assumptions if the situation demands it, I will never tell you what to do. I ask the questions that will help you reveal more and more to yourself, think for yourself and find your own solutions to help you move forward. There is no magic wand and no formula. Divorce coaching requires an intuitive and therefore flexible approach, warmth, empathy and life experience.

“What I saw from Danielle was very strong, very sophisticated coaching. She has a very professional coaching style. As a coach, I rate her highly.”
